Cara, Croce & Flack

That’s who we’re featuring this week…

Featured artists are the folk group Cara, formed in Germany, but with a love of – and a virtuosity in – Celtic music. Indeed they also have a Scottish member in the person of Kim Edgar, a singer-songwriter-musician we’ve gladly supported over a good few years.

The featured archive album is the first LP released by Roberta Flack: 1969’s First Take, featuring a couple of songs you’ll certainly know. And the featured songwriter is a perennial favourite, Jim Croce, a prolific releaser of music during his all-too-short career.

Plus lots more to round out two hours of carefully curated music. Available here on the website from 7pm on Sunday.
