We hope you enjoyed last week’s Bob Dylan special, and that subscribers are enjoying the ongoing clips of Rab Noakes and Stewart Cruickshank talking Bob.
Back to a more regular format this week. The featured artist is a young musician who we only discovered this year, but who’s already insinuated herself into our musical consciousness. Orla Noble is the talented individual in question, her debut album Unfurl newly released.
The featured album takes us back 55 years to Nick Drake‘s Bryter Layter, the second of the three LPs he released. And the featured songwriter takes us back even further, to the days of the Greenwich Village folk scene – and far beyond – with the great Tom Paxton.
The show will be available from 7pm on Sunday.

Despite you playing ‘Last Thing On My Mind’ (very painful listening due to associating it with my daughter who was killed in 2008) – is there no chance you could do some bonus sailings over the next few weeks to provide relief from wall to wall football?
(I am rather glad I own a decent selection of cds . . . )
