This week’s featured artists are a band from Edinburgh called Paper Sparrows with their own take on Americana and folk.
The featured songwriter is also from Edinburgh, at least that’s where he grew up. Bert Jansch, the great beatnik virtuoso.
And the featured album is Lucinda Williams, self-titled. Released in 1988, it served as her introduction to a lot of us (though it was actually her third album).
This being holiday season, we recorded this week’s episode last week, but it launches as usual on Sunday evening at 7pm.
