Hello Iain and The Crew
Just want to say how much I enjoyed the last show and in particular the poetry section featuring Hope by Emily Dickinson nicely segueing into the Dangling Conversation by Simon and Garfunkel. You certainly don’t get this kind of erudite literary mix on any other show.
So, in the same vein, I was wondering whether you could play something from Ralph McTell’s ‘The Boy With A Note’, An Evocation of the Life of Dylan Thomas. A very nice segue would be the Poem: No Grown Man’s Land read by Nerys Hughes followed by Wonderful Country( A Proposition of Prepositions) .
Thank you so much for reading my message and for bringing so much new and not so new music to our attention.
