Dear Iain and the crew,
Just want to give a heartfelt shout-out to Wave of the Flood aka Lindsay Strachan, whom you played a couple of weeks ago. I purchased the album ‘Forty Five’ direct from her which arrived with a lovely greeting. The whole album is a stunner. The treatment is tender, the music beautiful, and the voice warm and inviting. Full marks for bringing Lindsay Strachan to our attention.
Also, I was wondering whether you had space to fit in ‘Last Man Standing’ by Malachy Tallack from the album ‘From The Thorn’. Another fine Scottish artist whom I heard for the first time on your show on “the other station”!! Back in 2009, I think.
Thanks Iain
